I'm an artist who knows how it feels to have something to say — but not feel safe to say it. Through steady work and a lot of self-love, I overcame the blockers to my creative expression. My goal is to help you do the same.
I offer 1:1, remote sessions where we work intimately to understand what's holding you back and move through it.
Through our work together, you will:
How we get there looks different for everyone. We might draw from mindfulness, reflective exercises, somatic practices, or visual tools — or focus on mindset shifts and systems that support your growth.
I work with both hobbyists and seasoned artists. Whatever is blocking you, I'd love to help you find your way to a creative flow that deeply fulfills you.
Client stories
"Erica helped me reflect on the internal and external factors that were blocking my creativity. She showed me the interconnectedness of my different goals to my self esteem, self worth, and self love. Across 12 sessions, she shared wisdom from experience and taught self help tools and habits. I can now unpack negative thoughts when they intrude, and overcome anxiety. I even won my first dance battle!"
Briana — Dancer
"I tend to sign up for a lot of things at once. Erica helped me reprioritize my commitments to focus on what truly aligned with my values and long-term goals. She also helped me identify my negative self talk and find a reframe that allowed me to continue expressing myself freely without shame. I felt supported, but was also held accountable when I'd branch out and lose track of my goals."
Shannon — Performing Artist
"When I was overwhelmed with putting together a podcast, Erica helped me break everything down into actionable parts. She helped me develop the self-acceptance to commit to goals and make progress that felt manageable for me — rather than try to achieve perfection. Over Erica's sessions I recorded a trailer and 4 episodes, developed a transcript review process, and built the resources to run my podcast independently."
Julia — Writer
I've had many creative outlets throughout my life, from writing to dance.
But my real journey to creative freedom started when I started pursuing the outlet that I'd neglected most: music. This started at a concert in 2021, where I was caught off guard by something I'd never felt before: jealousy for the people on stage. Music had always been a private outlet for me, but this feeling was my cue that the little musician in me was eager to connect with the world. So I started doing the work to get my creative visions off the ground and into people's headphones.
What followed was a journey with challenges I hadn't expected: imposter syndrome, self-doubt, perfectionism, and even burnout. Despite my conviction that I was on the right path, the inner critic I thought I'd already addressed would keep rearing its head at every new milestone to question my right to create — and my worth entirely.
Through self-reflection and tools I learned in therapy, I eventually came out the other side. I've now written countless songs and collaborated with artists around the world. Most importantly, I've achieved creative freedom that has not only deepened my relationship with music, but with myself too.
My experience was by no means unique. We live in a world that seems to tell us that creating is selfish, childish, or requires a degree. In reality, our creative force is inherently with us, and it's our human birthright to express it.
My path before coaching gave me the tools for this work in unexpected ways. More than 10 years of my professional life has involved guiding people as a tutor and writing mentor. As an Armenian-American who has lived overseas, I've come to see how differently people can see the same world. And my education in philosophy helps me step into people's worldviews and see through to the beliefs beneath them (including those that block the creative experience).
If you feel the desire to create but keep finding yourself stuck, I'd love to help you.
